Privacy Policy
DevBears ("we", "the developer") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the Timestamp Camera: Job Site app ("the app") processes, for what purposes, and what choices you have.
- The app has no sign-up or login, and we do not collect or store personally identifiable information on our servers.
- Your photos and location data (GPS coordinates and addresses) are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
- Optional advertising (Google AdMob) and optional analytics / crash reporting (Firebase) are disabled until you choose to enable them.
1. Information We Process and Why

Location is accessed only while you are using the app; we never collect location in the background. If you deny the camera or location permission, you can still use the parts of the app that do not require them.
2. Photos and Location Data Stay on Your Device
- Your photos (both the original and the stamped copy) and the location captured at shooting time are stored only in the app's private storage on your device.
- We cannot access this data, and it is never transmitted to or backed up on any external server.
- You can delete photos and site records inside the app, and uninstalling the app deletes all stored data.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays Google AdMob ads only if you enable ads in the app's Privacy choices. We request non-personalized ads and do not request App Tracking Transparency permission or use IDFA for advertising. Google may present a regional privacy form before an ad request; if consent is unavailable or ads cannot be requested, no ad is shown. You can disable ads or reopen Google's privacy choices in Settings at any time.
4. Analytics and Crash Reporting (Firebase)
Only when you enable Analytics & diagnostics in the app's Privacy choices, the app uses the following Google Firebase tools:
- Firebase Analytics — collects app usage statistics such as screen views and feature usage, along with device information (model, OS version, etc.), used for service improvement.
- Firebase Crashlytics — when the app crashes, collects crash logs, device state, and app/OS version information, used for diagnosing failures.
These tools do not receive your photos or location records. You may withdraw this choice at any time in Settings; withdrawal stops future collection.
5. Third Parties and Data Processors
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. However, the following providers process data under their own privacy policies as part of delivering the services described above:
- Google LLC — AdMob (advertising), Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (analytics and crash reporting)
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Data stored on your device (photos, shooting records, settings) is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Retention of advertising and analytics data processed by Google is governed by Google's policies.
7. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
